On Saturday, January 11  -12, 9 am to 4 pm,  the Miss San Diego Pageant is holding  an E-Waste and Shoe Recycling /Collection event at the  Home Depot  in Carmel Mountain Ranch.

They are inviting residents and businesses  to donate unwanted electronics and old but usable pairs of shoes at this FREE Community Recycling/Collection Event.

This is a great opportunity to dispose of any unwanted electronics and shoes while benefitting Miss San Diego Pageant.

Acceptable electronics items are those that plug into an electrical outlet or take a battery. Other acceptable items are ink/toner cartridges, cables/wires, and car/forklift batteries. All personal data will be erased and destroyed for consumer protection. No Refrigerators, washers, dryers, fluorescent light bulbs, and household batteries will be accepted.

***Microwave Ovens are $5.00, a service fee for the processing of hazardous waste.
Pairs of shoes only are acceptable for the Shoe Drive, including sandals and slippers. NO single shoes, no skates, and no golf shoes are accepted.

The Miss San Diego Pageant and Scholarship Association (MSDPSA) is a not-for-profit organization that does not receive any  public or government funding. The MSDPSA relies on contributions from the generous members of the community to help provide scholarships and opportunities to outstanding young women.
