Six New Board Members Appointed to Guide Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater San Diego
The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater San Diego (BGCGSD) recently appointed six new members to its board of directors. New BGCGSD Board Chair Dan Weber announced the appointments of Rosemary Bailey, Terry Brown, Jennifer Harper, Jeff Levinson, Erik Moore, and Stephen Tate. They will help direct BGCGSD’s programs to benefit children all over the region, including at the local 4S Ranch Branch.
The new board members come from a variety of professional backgrounds. Bailey is an assistant vice president for Arthur J. Gallagher & Co., a global brokerage for commercial insurance. Brown is vice president/director of St. Mar Enterprises, which operates 22 local Taco Bell restaurants. Harper is the director of community relations at The Prescott Companies and is returning to the BGCGSD board after a one-year absence. Levinson is a retired attorney and previously served on the board for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Phoenix. Moore is the principal of Moore, Schulman & Moore family law firm. Tate is the senior vice president of brand operations for Sony Electronics.
Weber is a partner of the law offices of Goria, Weber & Jarvis. He will oversee the executive committee, composed of Lionel Deschamps, Dan Kotnik, Mike Peters, Allie Pruitt, Denette Steward, and Steve Wittman. “Our board members are the key to our success as an organization,” said BGCGSD President/CEO Danny Sherlock. “We continue to attract leaders who are passionate about making a difference and changing the lives of the members we serve.”
