Rancho Bernardo Recreation Center and the Warriors for Healing (W4H) Foundation are partnering to offer a free weekly yoga class at the recreation center for veterans, active duty military, and their families. The class will be led by Grace Flores, who has an active duty son. “We want to serve our military community, help them alleviate stress in their lives, and cultivate more resiliences through the evidence-based science of yoga,” she explained.

W4H was founded by San Diego resident and former NBC News war correspondent Brad Willis. Brad shared, “As a former war correspondent that faced traumatic stress after the loss of my career to a broken back and stage IV cancer, my compassion for our military heroes is immense.” He is committed to sharing the healing he found through yoga.

The class will be held every Monday from 5:45 to 6:45 p.m. For details contact Grace at 619-729-1691 or puragrace@att.net. Learn more at www.warriorsforhealing.org.
