Preschool Registration Requests

Registration request forms for the 2017-18 school year will be accepted Feb. 1 through March 1. The form is available and can be completed online at www.powayusd.com/preschool.

All completed forms are automatically sent directly to the Preschool Administration Office. A lottery process may be required if the request for a class exceeds openings in the class. Parents will be notified starting the week of March 13 about class placements or wait list status. Registration request forms received after March 1 will be processed in the order received.

Children must be three years old before Sept. 1 to enroll in preschool. PUSD currently operates preschools at 23 elementary campuses and two high school sites.

Intradistrict Transfer Requests

PUSD families may apply for an intradistrict transfer request for the 2017-18 school year Feb. 1 through April 1. For frequently asked questions visit this page. Starting Feb. 1, there will be a link to the 2017-18 electronic intradistrict transfer form under the Student Transfer Requests column on the left side of the page.

You may submit your transfer electronically or you may download a hard copy form and submit your application by mailing it to the Student Attendance and Discipline Office located at 15250 Avenue of Science, San Diego, CA 92128. Forms completed at the school sites will be forwarded to the Student Attendance and Discipline Office via inter-office mail.

Students requesting an intradistrict transfer must be enrolled for the subsequent school year at the school of residence prior to transfer approval. First priority consideration given to applications received between Feb. 1 and April 1. Second priority consideration given to applications received between April 1 and June 1. All transfer requests received after June 1 may be held for review until after the school year begins.
