Longtime local volunteer Larry McIntyre was recently honored for 40 years of community volunteer work with a comedy roast. Over 100 community members joined for a night of hilarious roasting by Mike Stelman, Craig Brown, former councilwoman Barbara Warden, and Larry’s brother, Rich McIntyre. Then Larry got to take the stage and gave as good as he got. He and his wife, Joyce, were given a two-night stay in a villa at South Coast Winery. Among his many community contributions, Larry helped found the RB Chamber of Commerce (now the North San Diego Business Chamber), founded the RB Historical Society, and co-founded the Rancho Bernardo Business Association.
