Meet the Dugdales
To say that the Dugdale family is accomplished would be a bit of an understatement. Jeff has a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, an MBA, and a juris doctor degree. He is currently vice-president and division counsel for Qualcomm. Heather also earned a juris doctor degree and is a nonprofit fundraising consultant. In addition, she is a “mommy blogger” who turned her blog into a book entitled Adventures of a Runamuk Mom: The Early Years. Jeff, Heather, and their three daughters are also committed to giving back to the community. “I am a founder of the Jack-o-Smash run and family festival, and the girls and I are also very active as members of the San Dieguito chapter of National Charity League,” stated Heather.
When they are not volunteering, the Dugdale girls can be found participating in their favorite sports. “Kenna is a JV cheerleader and a varsity gymnast at Torrey Pines High School. Cassie attends Earl Warren Middle School, plays rugby, and is training for her black belt in karate. Reese is a cheerleader with Torrey Pines Pop Warner and attends Solana Santa Fe Elementary School,” related Heather.

The Dugdale family has lived in the 4S Ranch/Del Sur area for 15 years and moved to their current home six years ago. “When you turn onto our street, it’s like you’ve entered a little rural oasis right in the middle of busy San Diego. We’re able to provide our kids with experiences they wouldn’t typically get in a metro area – raising chickens, growing our own organic food in a large garden, and even racing around on our own ATV/go-kart track,” stated Heather. The family’s dog, Fletch, also enjoys having space to roam. According to Heather, they’ve been introduced to most of their neighbors by Fletch, who is a renowned escape artist and will often surprise their neighbors with an unannounced visit!
Spending time together is a top priority for the Dugdale family, and they love embarking on new adventures with one another. They enjoy snow skiing, water skiing, cruising around San Diego Bay in their power boat, traveling to Colorado, and family game nights. One of their proudest (and most fun) accomplishments as a family was the building of a record-breaking plinko board for the 2016 Jack-o-Smash. “Jeff and the girls assembled a giant 16-foot by 16-foot pumpkin plinko board. It won a Guinness World Record,” revealed Heather with pride.
