Del Norte High School’s (DNHS) annual athletic Physical Night will be held Thursday, May 30 at the DNHS Gym. All incoming students planning to try out for a sport during the 2019-2020 school year can get their required physical for a low-cost $25 donation. The physical will clear them for the entire next school year.

All athletes are required to have a physical completed before they try out for any sport. The athletic trainer is in charge of handling the physical paperwork which includes following up with parents about medical issues such as asthma, life-threatening allergies, epilepsy, and heart conditions. All proceeds from Physical Night are placed in the athletic training budget which helps with the purchase of tape, splints, elastic bandage wraps, crutches, first-aid materials, rehab equipment, and more.

DNHS Physical Night would not be possible without the doctors, coaches, parents, staff members, and others that volunteer their time. For more information, contact DNHS Athletic Director Mike Giaime at, Athletics Assistant Cosette Marolt at, or Athletic Trainer Kim Woolstencroft at
